About the Band
Gamble & the High Costa Living have been together for either two or twenty years, depending on who’s counting, with a collective performance history of about two centuries! Fronted by Mike Gamble and Collette Costa, both of whom originally hail from the Motown area (aka Detroit), and joined by Terry Schwarz on guitar, Alexei Painter on bass, Jason Messing on drums, Doug Bridges on tenor sax, Tim Powers on soprano sax, Michael Stanley on bari sax, Jill Taylor on trumpet, and Katy Giorgio on trombone, they strive to pay tribute to the most righteous of musical genres, old-school soul and R&B, mixed with a little Southeast Alaskan rhythm.
